The euro has been remarkably strong for years. The question is how much longer will globalization and European unity support euro strength. Foundations underpinning globalization are crumbling as nationalism makes a comeback and geopolitics rears its ugly head. On the other hand, maybe Europe's hidden vitality is stronger than assumed.
